Dustin Perry
Head Strength & Conditioning Coach
Dustin Perry is in his seventh season with the 49ers and fifth as the team’s head strength &conditioning coach. He originally joined the 49ers as an assistant strength &conditioning coach and spent two seasons (2017-18) in that role.
Perry took over the design and implementation of the team's strength & conditioning program in2019. Since his promotion, Perry has assisted the 49ers in preparing the team for three winning seasons, including two NFC West division titles, three NFC Championship games and an appearance in Super Bowl LIV.
Prior to joining the 49ers, Perry spent four seasons (2012-16) as an assistant strength &conditioning coach at the University of Minnesota. During his time at Minnesota, he assisted in developing offseason and in-season programs, rehabilitation, and supplementation.
Perry graduated from Western Michigan University in 2009 with a bachelor of science in physical education and a minor in health education. He later earned his master’s degree in applied kinesiology with a minor in sport and exercise science at the University of Minnesota in2014. Perry is a certified strength & conditioning specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength andConditioning Association.
A native of Marcellus, MI, Perry is married to his wife,Adrienne and they have a daughter named Rio.
