Steve Watterson spent his 32-year career as a Strength and Conditioning Coach with one organization, the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans. Such an accomplishment is typically unheard of in the coaching profession. Steve began his career as an athletic trainer. He spent several years as a High School Trainer prior to spending two years as an Assistant Trainer for the Philadelphia Eagles. It was at the Eagles where he developed a passion for strength & conditioning. He was hired by the Oilers in 1986 as the Strength & Conditioning Coordinator and stayed with this organization through relocation and six Head Coaching changes until his retirement in 2018. He was the first NFL Strength & Conditioning Coach to also carry the title of Assistant Head Coach. Steve was recognized as the Professional Strength & Conditioning Coach of the Year in 1992. He served on the National Research Council for Health (NRCH) scientific advisory council, which was formed to expand the scientific foundation and understanding of natural health science. Additionally, Steve served on the Alliance for Natural Health’s Scientific Advisory Board which was dedicated to promoting sustainable health and freedom of choice in healthcare through good science and good law.
Dan Dalrymple joined the New Orleans Saints in 2006. During his tenure, the Saints have experienced much success on the field qualifying for seven playoffs and winning the Super Bowl culminating the 2009 season. In 2018, the team finished the regular season with a 13-3 record for the third time since Dan became New Orleans’ Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. Prior to joining the Saints, Dalrymple spent the previous 17 seasons in a similar capacity at Miami University (Ohio), including the last 16 as Director of Athletic Conditioning, a program he built from its foundation. While the football team was a focus of his efforts, Dalrymple and his staff created workout regimens for every athletic program. He was promoted with the additional title of Assistant Athletic Director in 2003. Dan has previously been recognized with NFL Strength Coach of the Year honors for the 2009 season.
Moses Cabrera began his career with the Patriots in 2011 as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach before becoming the Director of the program in 2016. This is Cabrera’s third Super Bowl Championship as he was part of the Patriots staff that won the title in 2014 and 2016. Prior to joining the Patriots staff, Cabrera was an Assistant Strength Coach for one year at Colorado and six years at Fresno State. At these institutions, Moses implemented training programs for football, basketball, lacrosse, and soccer. He began his coaching career at Oral Roberts University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology, health and exercise science in 2000.
