Jim Arthur

Head Strength & Conditioning Coach

Jim Arthur is in his second season as the team's head strength and conditioning coach in 2023and his 13th overall with the Bears. Arthur possesses 21 years of NFL experience, including 12in Chicago where he worked on the Bears' strength and conditioning staff from 2005-15.

Prior to his return to Chicago last season, Arthur completed his sixth year with the Miami Dolphins in 2021 after he was hired as assistant strength and conditioning coach in 2016. In his first stint with the Bears, Arthur spent 11 years with the club's strength and conditioning staff, including seven as the team's strength and conditioning coach(2008-14). During his tenure, the Bears made two trips to the NFC Championship game: making their first appearance and hoisting the George Halas Trophy in 2006 with an additional trip to the conference championship game in 2010.

Prior to his first arrival in Chicago, Arthur spent three years (2002-04) as a strength and conditioning assistant with the Buffalo Bills, where he first worked under mentor, Rusty Jones. He also interned at Louisiana Tech during the summer of 2001 and at Boston College while finishing his master's degree in 2002.

Arthur began his coaching career at his alma mater, Springfield College, working as a student assistant until his graduation in 2000. He was also a graduate assistant for two seasons, where he earned his master's degree in applied exercise science in 2002.

A native of Cheshire, Conn., Arthur and his wife, Kendra, have a son, Rhett.

Noble Landry

Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach

Noble Landry is in his second season as assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Bears in 2023. 

Landry enters the 2023 season with seven years of strength and conditioning experience, including four seasons in the National Football League. Prior to his arrival in Chicago, Landry served as a strength and conditioning intern for the Indianapolis Colts for two seasons (2019- 20) before being promoted to strength and conditioning assistant for the 2021 season. 

A graduate of Denison University, Landry began his strength and conditioning career interning with Denison in 2018. He then went on to work as a strength coach for Allegiate and assistant football coach at Orange Lutheran High School in Orange, Calif. In 2019, he spent a season working at The Ohio State University as a strength and conditioning intern. 

Pierre Ngo

Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach

Pierre Ngo is back for his second stint as an assistant strength and conditioning coach with the Bears in 2023 after spending two years in the same role with the Denver Broncos. He was previously in Chicago from 2015-20, spending 2015 as a strength and conditioning coaching assistant before being promoted to assistant strength and conditioning coach.

Prior to the Bears, Ngo spent two seasons with the New York Jets, first as a strength and conditioning intern in 2012 then as an assistant strength and conditioning coach in 2013.

Sandwiched between his NFL experience he served as a strength and conditioning coaching assistant at UCLA in 2014 working with the Bruins football program.

Ngo spent one season at Arizona State University (2011) where he served as an assistant strength coach for the Sun Devils football program andoversaw ASU women's volleyball, women's tennis and men's golf teams.

From 2009-2011, Ngo worked at Philippi Sports Institute in Las Vegas, Nev., training NFL, MLB, MMA and youth athletes.

Ngo started his collegiate coaching career in (2008) at Arizona State as a strength conditioning intern and University of Nevada-Las Vegas (2008-2009).

Born in Muskogee, Okla., Ngo was a two-year letterman at NAIA Langston University (2004-05) and finished his collegiate playing career as a walk-on at the University of Oklahoma (2006) where he earned a degree in health and sports science.Ngo earned his master’sat ConcordiaUniversity Chicago in Applied Exercise Science(2021).Acertifiedstrengthand conditioningspecialist by the NationalStrengthand Conditioning Association (NSCA), Ngo is also a certified throughUSA Weightlifting.
